Apple Crumble with a twist

Ingredients

  • Base

    • 1 x 700g tin of pie apple

    • 1 x white chocolate mud cake mix (mix as per packet instructions)

  • Crumble

    • 1 cup plain flour

    • 1/2 cup sugar

    • 1/4 cup brown sugar

    • 1/2 cup cold butter/margarine

    • A sprinkle of salt & cinnamon

Method

  1. Use a foil tray to keep it super quick & easy, or grease a baking dish if you prefer.

  2. Place canned apples in your foil tray or baking dish.

  3. Prepare your mud cake as per packet directions & pour the mix over your apples.

  4. Combine dry crumble ingredients and rub butter in with your fingertips to create your crumble. Sprinkle over your apple crumble.

  5. Bake at 160 degrees for 50 mins or until the knife comes out clean.
