Best Cake Ever! My sister gave me a packet mix of the Choc mint mudcake, I wasn’t sure how the flavour would be, but I must say it’s probably the best cake I’ve ever had in my 4 decades of life! Unbelievably good. I rarely have cake at parties as it can be a hit and miss thing, but not with these cake mixes.

What you need

  • 350mL boiling water

  • 125g butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C fan forced.

  2. Combine cake mix, boiling water and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.

  3. Pour into a greased and lined 8 inch cake tin and bake for 60 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.

  4. Allow to cool and refrigerate for two hours before removing from the cake tin.
