Orange cake
Our versatile white chocolate mud cake mix pairs beautifully with oranges in this delicious recipe variation.
Ingredients
- 1x white chocolate mud cake mix
- 4x oranges
- 125g melted butter
- Water
Method
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and line your tin.
- Zest the oranges and set the zest aside.
- Now squeeze the juice from your 4 oranges and tip into a measuring jug. Top up with water to make 350ml.
- Add the juice to your mud cake mix along with the melted butter and orange zest, then whisk (it will look a little curdled but don't worry it won't upset your cake).
- Pour into your lined tin and bake for 50 to 60 mins.
Ice with your favourite buttercream. Try adding a dash of orange essence to the buttercream.
